In the fall of 2016 while in the UK, I went on tour with McFly and shot the entire experience. I wanted to shoot the band in black and white and from a perspective that people have never seen them. We compiled the highlights and created a coffee table book for the tour.

“Soon it got dusk, a grapy dusk, a purple dusk over tangerine groves and long melon fields; the sun the color of pressed grapes, slashed with burgandy red, the fields the color of love and Spanish mysteries.”

I've spent a lot of time on the road living and traveling all over the world, but I always seem to end up back in Southern California. I think it's a combination of the weather and the energy of the ocean that brings me back. There's also something about the color palette of the California sky that reminds me that I'm home. This collection of photos are inspired by the colors and energy of California.

As we continue to work towards transforming Dougie Poynter's image, we recognized the importance of showcasing his natural sense of style to the fashion community. So, for London Fashion week AW17 we partnered with Carl Marshall PR and GQ magazine to showcase Dougie Poynter's style through a "What I Wore To Fashion Week" column. Given my understanding of his brand and aesthetic, I photographed the piece because it was important to control his image through the right photography in order to stay aligned with the overall brand we are creating.
